Welcome to the Team! On your first day, you will meet other new St Joe Hospitality associates, your manager, and get your schedule. You will spend several hours with us as you review the important policies and complete your required trainings for your job. Depending on your job, you may need to complete food safety, alcohol awareness, COVID-19 sanitation, human trafficking awareness. Don't worry, we will provide you a lunch while you are with us. Make sure you bring your identity or employment authorization documents.

Depending on how long you have been gone, you may not have to complete everything over again. We will let you know at the time of offer if you will have to repeat everything again.
Yes. We do require background and drug screening on all new hires. Our associates safety at work is of utmost importance to us.
For our locations that are Forbes Travel Guide four-star rated and our private clubs, we do have standards that are required as being a luxury property. You are allowed to have tattoos as long as they are not considered to be offensive in nature. Females are allowed one ear piercing, males are not allowed any piercings. If you have gauges, you can have flesh colored fillers. Hair must be a natural color with no unusual colors. Men with facial hair must be close shaven and not scruffy. Jewelry must be simple and not stand out. Nail colors must be neutral colors and no long nails. Other properties may have more relaxed standards so please speak with the Talent team if you have questions.
We believe in second chances, and review everyone’s situation on a case-by-case basis. Make sure you disclose this on your Background form sent after your offer. We will notify you of your eligibility after the screenings are completed.
If you are applying for a full-time position, you are expected to have open availability which includes working weekends, evenings and holidays. If you are seeking part-time, we can often work around another job, school schedule, or other commitments. Make sure you notify of this in your interview so we can check with the manager on what availability is needed.
